Two-time Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah and world record-holder Keni Harrison are among the headline names expected at this weekend’s Miramar Invitational event in Florida.

The competition, a World Athletics Continental Tour Silver Meeting, features seven Olympic champions, seven world champions and three world record-holders across a field of 140 athletes.

With the action starting at 13:00 ET in the United States, UK viewers can watch it live here on vincosport.com from 18:00 UK time on Saturday 10th April.

Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson-Herah, who won the sprint double in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, will compete in the 200m alongside world silver medallist Brittany Brown and American compatriot Jenna Prandini.

World record holder Keni Harrison is down for the sprint hurdles, with Grant Holloway involved on the men’s side after breaking British athlete Colin Jackson’s 27-year-old 60m Hurdles world record this year.

Continuing the UK theme, sisters Tiffany Porter and Cindy Sember are both involved in the 100m Hurdles following their appearance on the podium together at the European Athletics Indoor Championships. Meanwhile, Lorraine Ugen goes up against Olympic and world champion Tianna Bartoletta in the long jump.

Olympic and world champion Justin Gatlin, 39, is entered for the 100m alongside Jamaicans Nesta Carter and Julian Forte, Commonwealth runner-up Aaron Brown from Canada, and Americans Mike Rodgers, and Marvin Bracy.

Two-time world medallist Ajee Wilson heads the 800m line-up which includes Britain’s Hannah Segrave, while Doha 2019 World Athletics Championships winner Tajay Gayle is entered in the long jump, and Commonwealth Games winner Danniel Thomas-Dodd in the shot put.
