UKA Futures Athletes AnnouncedPublished by
UK Athletics has officially announced the athletes that are to be retained and added into the UKA futures programme.The Programme – which is supported by Nike and delivered in partnership with the Home Country Athletics Federations – is focused on supporting athletes and coaches who have demonstrated the potential to succeed at future Olympic Games. Key names include European U23 Champions Emily Newnham and Success Eduan, who are joined by there fellow medalists from Bergen including Will Barnicoat and Joy Eze. New additions to the programme include medalists from the European U20 championships in Tampere Lyla Belshaw (800m) and Otis Poole (High Jump) Graduates from previous programmes include World Indoor Champions Amber Anning, Jeremiah Azu and 2024 champion Molly Caudery. As well as Olympic medalists Keely Hodgkinson, Charlie Dobson and Yemi Mari John.
