Tebogo to Open Season in Australia
Olympic 200m champion Letsile Tebogo will compete in the 400m at the Maurie Plant Meet in Melbourne on March 29. This will mark his Australian debut, joined by Olympic silver medalist Bayapo Ndori and teammates Leungo Scotch and Victor Ntweng.
Ingebrigtsen Confirms European Indoors
Jakob Ingebrigtsen will race at the European Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn (March 6–9), defending his 1500m and 3000m titles. He also plans to compete in the Liévin Meeting (February 13) and is considering the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing.

- Men: Andreas Almgren (SWE) set a European record of 26:53, becoming the first European to break 27 minutes. Dominic Lobalu (SUI) set a national record (26:54), with additional records for Belgium, Uruguay, Eritrea, and Great Britain.
- Women: Kenya’s Hellen Lobun won in 29:30, leading four women under 30 minutes. Ethiopia’s Girmawit Gebrzihair (29:34) and Fotyen Tesfay (29:42) rounded out the podium. Slovenia’s Klara Lukan was the top European finisher (31:07).
Hassan and Tola Return to London Marathon
Olympic marathon champions Sifan Hassan and Tamirat Tola will race the London Marathon on April 27. Hassan, who won in her debut last year, and Tola aim to face the world’s best on the iconic course.
Lyles vs. Jacobs at New Balance Indoor GP
Noah Lyles and Marcell Jacobs will clash in the 60m at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix on February 2. Lyles returns as the meeting record-holder (6.44). Grant Fisher and Jake Wightman will face off in the 3000m, while Jessica Hull and Georgia Bell headline the women’s 3000m.
