Senior Women: Italy's Nadia Battocletti made history by winning her first senior title (25:43) and becoming the first woman to claim individual gold at U20, U23, and senior levels. Konstanze Klosterhalfen (GER) and Yasemin Can (TUR) completed the podium.

Senior Men: Jakob Ingebrigtsen clinched his third senior Euro Cross title with a dominant 22:16 finish over Yemaneberhan Crippa (ITA) and Thierry Ndikumwenayo (ESP). Spain secured the team gold.

U23 Women: Britain’s Phoebe Anderson delivered a surprise victory (21:16), beating Spain’s Maria Forero and Ilona Mononen (FIN).

U23 Men: Will Barnicoat (GBR) retained his title in 18:27, followed by Nicholas Griggs (IRL) and David Stone (GBR).

U20 Women: Innes FitzGerald (GBR) defended her crown in 15:47, leading a British 1-2 with Jess Bailey.

U20 Men: Niels Laros (NED) narrowly won (14:07) against Britain’s George Couttie (14:09). Norway captured the team title.

Mixed Relay: Italy edged France and Great Britain in a thrilling finish, with all three teams clocking 18:02.

Gout Breaks 200m Record at Australian All Schools

Teenager Gout Gout set a new Australian and Oceanian senior 200m record of 20.04, surpassing Peter Norman’s 56-year-old mark. The 16-year-old now ranks second on the U18 all-time list. Other standout performances included Terrell Thorne’s 400m Oceanian U18 record (45.64) and Emilia Reed’s U15 100m win (11.71).

Valencia Marathon: Record-Breaking Performances

Men: Kenya’s Sebastian Sawe debuted with a world lead of 2:02:05, becoming the fifth fastest marathoner ever. Tadesse Abraham set a Swiss record (2:04:40) in fifth, while Samwel Fitwi (GER, 2:04:56) and Yohanes Chiappinelli (ITA, 2:05:24) broke national records.

Women: Ethiopia’s Megertu Alemu won in 2:16:49, while Stella Chesang (UGA, 2:18:26) and Moira Stewartová (CZE, 2:23:44) set national records.

Grand Slam Track League Adds New Stars

The 2025 Grand Slam Track League confirmed new signings, including Sasha Zhoya (110m hurdles), Nickisha Pryce (400m), Alexis Holmes (USA), Hagos Gebrhiwet (5000m), and Oblique Seville (100m). Gabby Thomas was previously announced as a Racer for the league.

Duplantis and Ingebrigtsen Return for Silesia Diamond League

Mondo Duplantis and Jakob Ingebrigtsen will headline the 2025 Silesia Diamond League on August 16, with both aiming to repeat their world record-setting performances from 2024.

Yaroslava Mahuchikh to Compete in Banská Bystrica

High jump world record-holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh will start her indoor season at the Banská Bystrica indoor meet on February 18. The event will also feature World U20 champion Angelina Topić and a farewell appearance by Donald Thomas.
